Gong Xi Gong Xi

My first Chinese New Year was a noisy one. Mom and dad brought me to London Chinatown on the first day of CNY. Apparently there were 270,000 of us congregating there on that day though I was cosily seated in my pushchair. Trafalgar Square was packed with people and stalls.
The Metropolitan police force were handing out balloons with a cute pig pic on it, but mine got squashed by the crowd when they were rushing to see fireworks going off in Leicester Square. So, I tried to nick another child's one, but mom made me let it go. Mom and dad were planning to have lunch there, but there were long queues at every single Chinese restaurant. Not much hope of getting a seat then..
On the 6th day of CNY, we attended a friend's CNY party. Her mom cooked yummy food, but none for me.:( That called for tears! They had lots of cool toys though, especially one of a very well padded rocking duck!
