My first Christmas

Christmas is a time for giving and receiving. Here, my friends from 100 Acre Wood came avisiting, bearing gifts from afar. Thank you all out there for the lovely gifts.

Truly, I have more blessings than I can count, with my fingers.. and toes..I thank God for the best gift of all, the dear baby Jesus.. We sang Happy Birthday to Him in church this morning.

We had a really fun party as well the night before, at Hannah's house. She loves carrying me too. Don't we look like sisters?

Little Benedict here played baby Jesus earlier, at the Crib service. Isn't he adorable? That's his dad, carrying me here.
Having a nice quiet day at home on Boxing Day. Lots of smiles and hugs from mom and dad.

The day before..

Yippee, Christmas eve! Took a picture with the gingerbread man. He looks scrumptious. We were doing some last minute shopping.

Here I am chilling out in my high chair, a Christmas pressie from Grandma. It can be turned to a chair and table. Have to check to see if it passes the Leanne durability test.

I met Ned, the donkey at the Crib Service later that evening. He's the annual star at our Christmas eve service. He was really good, walking up and down the aisle.

All I want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.. They finally came up after days of aching. I had a fever a couple of days before, with red cheeks and a cold. You can't really see them here as I am hiding them. Dad has to try harder to take pictures of them.
Just started going to Aunty Kim's place everyday as mom went back to work. Initially, I missed mom loads.. The hours seem so long, and I couldn't wait to see her again. But today, as mom was waving goodbye, I was more excited to start playing with Sam and Matt. Here's me, just chilling out after a long hard day's of play.
We had a fancy dress Christmas party with the other Sun beamers (other infants and toddlers). I met Father Christmas for the first time. He even gave me a crinkly caterpillar. Boy, I must have been a good girl..

Hop little bunny

Yippee, I can now stand upright.. (with a little help.) This quite good exercise too, whilst mom and dad prepare dinner for me.
So far, I have tried bananas, sweet potatoes, carrot, brocolli, peach, apples and pears. Of the boxed kind, there were roast turkey dinner(tis the season..), vegetable casserole, apple & blueberry cereal, and veg & chicken dinner. All scrummy yummies! But not THE bottle...
