Doing my bit for the environment

It may not be much but I started using washable nappies this week! Much more work for grandma and mom, hehe.. Here, dad's taking me for an evening stroll when the day was cooler.

However, mom still uses disposable ones when we go out, just for the convenience. It is a harder road to take, as Mike has warned mom about. But, it's a start!

My first haircut

The first thing dad saw of me was my hair. Even a stranger in a cafe commented on how much hair I have. Hence, a haircut was due before long. Mom expertly snipped off the locks. Here's the before and after look..

A week of social..

To commemorate my first month, it was a week long of visiting and visitors. Mom's friends came to see me with lots of pressies!

Later on, we visited aunt Margaret in her lovely garden. It was in full bloom, truly lovely!






Unfortunately, it was hello and goodbye as our friends were headed back to India soon.

Let me count..

4 weeks and 3 days.. hey, I am more than a month old now! I have put on almost 3 pounds and grown 5cm since then. They say another growth spurt will be due in week 6.. I can't wait!

Here I am, contemplating on the first month of my life. I thank the Lord for all that He has blessed me with, especially grandma who loves carrying me everywhere.

Yesterday, I went for my first class. They taught mommy how to give me a good massage whilst I was busy checking out the other babies there.

My first dummy

After great persistence, grandma's efforts of teaching me to suck a dummy finally paid off. Didn't like the taste of it at first. Thought it was just a ploy to distract me from the real thing.. At first, mommy was really sceptical, but now that it keeps me quiet and happy, mommy's happy too.

Women Power

This is my first family portrait.. Don't know where all the men are, but my daddy's taking the photo. They caught me at the wrong moment though. See how they enjoy the feast whilst I have to contend with milk.. Ahh, delicious warm milk..hmmph!

2 weeks old

Been around for 2 weeks now. Feels like ages! Getting the hang of being a kid in this big world.. It's not easy, all the feeding and being changed. Have kept my grandma and mom on their toes, especially thru the nights.. Dad manages to leave us to it though..
