Hmm, think they have been putting me into bed too early. Raring to play at 4:30am, but everyone seems to just want to sleep. Wonder why.. And it's getting brighter later these days.. in those days when I was born, it was bright even at 3am..

Coming to grips with it all..
Had my immunisation jab last week for Diphtheria, Whooping cough, Tetanus, Polio, and Hib on my left thigh and Meningtis C on the other.. Ouch.. The pain was all too much for me, so I went to sleep immediately. Got another 2 more to go within the next 2 months.. Sigh..
Although the side effects were fever and diarrhoea, I kept mom and grandma were quite worried when I didn't poo for two days. After that, I'm known affectionately as Mighty Poo now, as dad says I kept making new records.
Oooohhh.... Aaaguuuu....
Funny but those words came out instead of what I wanted to say.. Maybe I need abit more practice.
See how I love my mobile. It keeps me fascinated.

Learning curve

I am now 8 weeks old.
Here's a list of things that I have learnt this week.. (which I can remember, at least):
- My hands are pretty useful, not just two alien objects floating about. They can be used to feel and touch things, especially to cling onto people if they want to put me down.
- Mastering the skill of sucking my dummy just like my si fu Maggie, in the Simpsons.
- Realised that crying doesn't get me far. Mom and grandma are starting to discipline me by leaving me to it, as the health visitor suggested.. It's a conspiracy against babies, I tell you.. Babies in the world, UNITE!
- Falling asleep all by myself, much to the delight of dad. I did a 7 hour sleep last night!

Smile
It's funny, but when I started smiling, everyone started getting so excited. The more I smiled, the more they smiled back, and thus, as mimicking is what I do best, the more I smiled, which of course delighted both parties. On another note, my hands seem to
have grown overnight. I can reach those elusive mobile in my cot now. As I wriggle my toes, I can feel the ends of my babygros which were meant for 0-3 months. So I have now graduated to 3-6 months clothing. Besides that, I can do head turns now, from side to side whilst on my tummy, which is a great trick, after sleeping on one side for too long.
