Busy chef!

For my next secret recipe, I am attempting the tantalising, mouth-water, golden syrup with belgian chocolate rice krispies. First, you line the paper cupcakes in a row.

After melting the chocs and stuff in a pot, you mix them up together in a great big blue bowl.

After that, you spread them into the earlier lined cupcakes. Abit tricky here, as they are really sticky together.

Just like that, simple! Easy-peasy, now anyone can try them at home too.

Absolutely yummy too!

An afternoon in Wisley

We had a pleasant surprise when we visited Wisley one Monday afternoon. It was an art appreciation afternoon as there was a sculpture exhibition going on.

Ebba and I had a great time running around the well-groomed gardens. Here I am, sitting on a giant mushroom in the middle of a maze.

We shared everything, from balls to push-chairs, racing around after our tea.

English gardens are really pretty. I supposed it must be partly due to the amount of rain that we get all year round.
If you fancy any of the sculptures, you can even bring it home, after purchasing them. The most elaborate/expensive one was the "Peace, Prosperity and Goodwill" boat, costing a whooping £4000.

I must say, the sculptures were very well-placed, like the seals in the lake,

and the panda by the bamboo shoots. Think they are quite happy there.

Then, there were the choir singers, who looked really chirpy from one direction, but from behind, they appeared to be huddled in prayer. All very cleverly done.

Hike up the tallest point of Surrey

On one misty Saturday morning, we decided to climb Leith Hill, the highest peak of Surrey - a whole 294 metres. It sounds onerous, but fortunately, it was just a quarter mile walk up from the nearest parking space.

A gentle introduction to climbing for me. Lots of wooden steps along the way. With a little help from mom, I managed to get to the top.

It was worth while, as the view was breathtaking.

Apparently on a clear day, you are able to see London, the English Channel and 13 counties from the tower.

Having a coffee break after all that climbing! (Or rather, a milk and cookies break.) There were lots of pretty shrubs and ferns growing by.

My little legs were too tired to descent, so I hitched a ride on daddy's taxi. You can see why, it's hard work.
