The air stewardesses took to Joshua and entertained him whilst we waited in the lounges. As we needed to transit, there was a lady waiting for us in a buggy. Leanne was excited, saying she had never been on one before. We hanged on tightly as she beeped other travellers out of our way.
We flew in the new Airbus A380, which was only 16 weeks old, almost the same age as Joshua, albeit a little different in size. There was plenty of leg room and good entertainment. The children slept for about 7 hours in all. Leanne fidgeted alot as she wasn't used to sleeping upright in a seat. Finally, she settled for a head down and legs up position. I didn't get to finish Revolutionary Road. Leanne made some new friends by the end of the flight.
When we arrived at KLIA, both grandparents and grand aunty and uncle were waiting at the gates. We were all relieved that we finally made it. Big hugs went around. Leanne couldn't stop chatting all the way home in the car, telling us about her new teddy bear, the big aeroplane and all the things she observed during the trip.
