Grandma's last day

With all the sunny weather, the tulips suddenly sprung out of the ground, and the buds flowered. It always amazes me the many arrays of colours in creation.
We spent the morning in Guildford, one of our favourite places in Surrey.
There is a castle ruin with a lovely garden filled with flowers at the moment.
After that, we did some shopping. Then the stomachs beckoned us to Nando's. Grandma kept me entertained whilst we waited for the chickens to arrive.

After a heavy lunch, we took a walk in the nearby woods, Newlands' Corner. (daddy's fanciful photo taking bit..)

On the way home, we stopped by Clandon Park. It was afternoon siesta for the little one who was pretty tired by then.
